On Campus Recruitment (OCR)

On Campus Recruitment is one of our upcoming events. But, it is so important that it deserves it's own post.

Between now and October 30th submit your resume to gethired@brockport.edu. Helen, one of the fantastic and helpful secretaries at Career Services, will look over your resume. Once it's approved you will be added to the OCR group on Angel.

Next, you go into the Angel group and put your resume in the drop boxes for the companies you wish to interview with. Employers look at the resumes and select which students they want to interview. Then, in November interviews are set up on campus. So, you could land a job or an internship without having to leave campus to apply or interview.

Some of these employers will also be at the Job and Internship Fair in November. So, you might have the opportunity to introduce yourself and do a little networking before your actual interview.
